Privacy Policy

TaoMarketCap is operated by Datura AI Corp ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data in the TaoMarketCap API (api.taomarketcap.com), the TaoMarketCap Developer Portal, and the TaoMarketCap plugin for ChatGPT and Codex.

1. Data we collect

Account data. When you create a Developer Portal account, we collect your username, email address and password. We store the password only as a hash. If you sign in with Google, GitHub or Facebook, we receive the account identifier and email address that the provider shares. If you sign in with a Bittensor wallet, we receive your public wallet address.
API keys. We store a short key prefix and a hash of the key secret. We do not store the full key after we show it to you.
Usage data. We count API requests per key and per endpoint, aggregated by hour and by day. For requests without an API key, we count requests per hashed IP address to apply rate limits.
Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe, NOWPayments and TMC Pay. We store the subscription status, the payment amount and currency, and the identifiers and event data that the payment provider sends to us. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Technical data. Our servers and security systems log the IP address, request path and parameters, user agent and response status of each request.
ChatGPT and Codex plugin. When you use the plugin, OpenAI sends us the name of the tool that the model calls and its arguments, for example a subnet number or a public wallet address. We do not receive your ChatGPT account details, your name, your email address or your conversation history. We log these requests like other API requests and count tool calls in aggregate metrics.
Support messages. When you contact us, we keep your message and the contact details you provide.

The blockchain data that we serve, such as wallet addresses, transactions and stake positions, is public data from the Bittensor network.

2. How we use data

To provide, operate and secure the API, the Developer Portal and the plugin.
To authenticate you and to manage your API keys and subscription.
To apply rate limits and quotas and to prevent abuse.
To process payments and to keep accounting records.
To answer support requests.
To measure reliability and usage in aggregate.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising or for behavioral profiling.

3. Who receives data

Amazon Web Services, which hosts our infrastructure and sends our email.
Stripe, NOWPayments and TMC Pay, which process payments.
Google, GitHub or Facebook, if you choose to sign in with them.
OpenAI, when you use the plugin: the tool results that we return go to ChatGPT or Codex. OpenAI handles your conversations under its own privacy policy.
Authorities, when the law requires us to disclose data.

4. How long we keep data

Server and application logs: up to 28 days.
Security (web application firewall) logs: up to 30 days.
Rate-limit counters: until their time window ends, at most one month.
Account data, API key records and usage statistics: while your account is active, or until you ask us to delete them.
Payment records: as long as accounting and legal obligations require.

5. Your choices

You can revoke your API keys at any time in the Developer Portal.
You can stop using the plugin at any time by disconnecting it in ChatGPT or Codex.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data. Send the request to support@taomarketcap.com.

6. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, store passwords and API key secrets only as hashes, and limit access to production systems.

7. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes

We update the date at the top of this page when we change this policy. We announce material changes on this page.
